To mark the occasion of being named one of Germany’s TOP 100 innovators, Mitteldeutscher Rundfunk (MDR) produced a dedicated TV feature on Aurolia Technologies. The report aired on June 27, 2025, on MDR Thüringen Journal, showcasing the company not only as an award winner but also as a forward-looking driver of innovation.

On behalf of the entire team, Managing Director Martin Müller accepted the award together with Michelle Kaiser and Florian Heim. Aurolia was honored in particular for its achievements in the field of “Open Innovation” – the systematic integration of external input from research, customer requirements, and employee ideas into market-ready developments.
As a future-oriented company based in Meiningen, Aurolia relies on technological processes such as anodizing, hard anodizing, and electroless nickel plating, which extend the lifespan of components and help conserve resources. The company’s vision – “a world without friction and wear” – drives the entire team and has now been made visible to the public.
