Archaeological report successfully completed.

As our building land is located in an archaeologically relevant area, as a resident company of the Free State of Thuringia, we are obligated to undergo an archaeological assessment.

“Most archaeological excavations are conducted based on these reports. The objective is to secure the archaeological traces (such as graves, settlement remains, or treasure caches) that are destroyed during excavation through scientific documentation, thereby preserving them for posterity in an indirect, archived form.” (Free State of Thuringia, 2023)

Prior to the commencement of excavations, a site inspection took place. During this inspection, the method to be used and the excavation areas were determined. All activities carried out by the State Office for Heritage Preservation and Archaeology were conducted in several investigative steps and meticulously documented.

At the end of August, the report was successfully completed. Now we have a clear path to establish Europe’s most innovative electroplating facility.
