Bau des neuen Werks von Aurolia Technologies zur Steigerung der Produktionskapazitäten

Aurolia News

Approval process is underway.

Aurolia plans to establish approval-requiring facilities according to the Federal Immission Control Act (BImSchG) at the new location in ITT Thüringer Tor.

This requires an extensive series of expert opinions, including fire protection assessments, noise assessments, hazard assessments, chimney height assessments, and an emission forecast. While these measures involve significant bureaucratic effort, they are of great importance for the protection of our environment, our employees, and our region.

The complex approval structure involves the district office, specialist authorities, external experts, and relevant third parties to ensure that Aurolia constructs the new factory according to the latest technical standards and meets all legal requirements.

A building permit is an integral part of the emission control approval, and implementation may only commence upon receipt of an official decree (in accordance with §8a BImSchG). A formal approval process typically takes up to 9 months.

The overarching goal of this process is to prevent or minimize the harmful effects of air pollutants on human health and the environment. Compliance with prescribed emission limits and maximum emission levels helps further reduce pollution levels, and it is of great importance to comprehensively inform the population about air quality.
